If you are using Unix-like OS, Mac OS or Linux, you can easily enjoy remote GUI running. Mac user should install XQuartz first Only one step is required to enable X forwarding: modify your ssh command from

ssh username@ourphysics.org

to

ssh -Y username@ourphysics.org

Then run the program like firefox and Matlab even VMD remotely, it will enter GUI mode default.
